Is there an Anna University entrance exam for B.E./B.Tech.?
No. There is no entrance test for first-year B.E./B.Tech. at Anna University. Admission on the general route is on class 12 Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry marks scaled to 200, through TNEA counselling.
Where do I apply for a CEG Guindy or MIT Chromepet seat?
On the TNEA portal, in the TNEA registration window. These are Anna University University Departments and Constituent Colleges, and their B.E./B.Tech. seats are listed in the TNEA brochure as part of the single-window system.
What does Anna University's Centre for Admissions actually run?
For B.E./B.Tech., B.Arch. and B.Plan. it runs only the NRI, CIWGC, Foreign National (FN/LDC/SIDS), Consortium of Industries and Other State category admissions. It also runs B.E. (Training Integrated) at University College of Engineering Kanchipuram, B.E./B.Tech. for Working Professionals, the M.Sc. (5 year Integrated) and M.Sc. (2 year) programmes, and CEAP-2026 counselling for M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. under GATE and CEETA-PG categories.
Does Anna University run any entrance test at all?
