How to applyPending verification
- 1Visit https://apply.atmaaims.com/ for instructions and to make the payment.
- 2Register using your own personal phone number, email ID and Aadhaar number — the official site states these must be the candidate's own.
- 3Pay the registration fee of INR 2000 (inclusive of GST at 18%) by credit or debit card only.
- 4If claiming the Women (25%) or North Eastern (50%) concession, upload the required proof — Aadhaar card, both sides, and Birth Certificate — during registration.
- 5Choose two test centre cities in order of preference, so that if the first is unavailable the second is included on the admit card automatically.
- 6Print the admit card from the candidate login on the published admit card printing date and carry it, with two photographs, a copy of the registration form and photo ID, to the centre at least one hour before the test.

Is ATMA still conducted, or has it been replaced by CAT or CUET-PG?
It is still conducted by AIMS in its own right. The official website is currently running its own registration cycle and publishes an ATMA 2026 bulletin. ATMA has not been folded into any other test.
How many questions does ATMA have and how long is it?
180 objective-type questions spread over six sections of 30 questions each, with 30 minutes allotted per section; total time is 3 hours.
Is there negative marking?
Yes. Each correct or best answer scores one, an unanswered question scores zero, and 0.25 is deducted for each wrong answer — so four wrong answers cost one mark.
Who can apply?
The official overview page lists 50% marks in a Bachelor's degree from a UGC-recognised university, and states that candidates who have completed CA can apply and that final year students can also apply.
What does ATMA cost?
INR 2000 inclusive of 18% GST. Women candidates get a 25% concession (INR 500) and candidates from the North Eastern States a 50% concession (INR 1000), on uploading the prescribed proof. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Where do I apply, and can an agent do it for me?
Only at https://apply.atmaaims.com/. AIMS states on its site that atmaaims.com is its only official website and that it has not appointed or authorised any agency to accept ATMA application forms or fees.
