- 2Register online for GLAET'26. Admission to all courses at GLA is done on the basis of the entrance test GLAET'26; on registering you receive a Registration Number and Password for the rest of the process.
- 3Pay the entrance test fee for GLAET'26 online by logging in to the admission portal with your Registration Number and Password.
- 4Book your preferred test slot and test centre. GLAET'26 is conducted at multiple test centres across India on multiple dates; log in, click 'Book Test Slot', choose a preferred date and time slot from the available vacant slots and submit.
- 5Sit the test, then check your GLAET'26 result online after 24 hours.
- 6If you have qualified GLAET'26 for your selected course, deposit the token amount of academic and hostel fee to book your seat, online by internet banking, debit card, credit card or UPI, or by generating a challan online and depositing the token fee in cash at any branch of HDFC Bank.
- 7Book your hostel seat online after the hostel fee is visible in your account following bank clearing.
- 8Complete your profile and upload scanned copies of all required original documents on the admission portal.
- 9Attend physical document verification at GLA campus on the date you are informed of. All dues must be cleared before this final step.

When is GLAET held?
There is no single date. GLA University states that GLAET'26 is conducted at multiple test centres across India on multiple dates, and you book your own preferred date and time slot from the vacant slots on the admission portal. Admissions run from March to the end of July.
How is GLAET marked?
Each correct answer is awarded 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. There is negative marking, so blind guessing costs you.
How long is the paper?
It depends on the programme. GLA University's own booklet describes GLAET as an online MCQ test of 60, 90 or 120 minutes according to the course. The B.Tech. paper runs 2 hours with 90 questions - Physics 20, Maths 45 and English 25.
Is there an interview after GLAET?
Only for some programmes. B.Tech (Hons.), B.Pharm., M.Pharm., MBA - Business Analytics and MBA (Hons.), MBA (Financial Markets & Banking), MBA - Logistics and Supply Chain Management and B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture require an interview after the test.
When do I get my result?
Within 24 hours of sitting the test, through the online GLAET result link on the admission portal.
Is GLAET needed for Ph.D. admission?
No. The University states that admission to all courses except Ph.D. is on the basis of GLAET. Ph.D. admission runs through a separate Ph.D. entrance examination.
Can a CAT or MAT score replace GLAET for MBA?
No. The University's booklet says admission is on the basis of performance in GLAET, and adds only that preference will be given to high scorers of CAT, MAT, XAT and similar tests.
