On 10 May 2026, for the 2026-27 session. Applications for all programmes except B SDS ran from 12 February 2026 to 26 March 2026 — extended from the originally notified 13 March.
What is the B SDS programme?
A 4-year Bachelor of Statistical Data Science (Hons), launched concurrently in Kolkata, Delhi and Bengaluru in hybrid mode. It needs 10+2 completed in 2025 or 2026 with Mathematics/Applied Mathematics and English, and at least 75% in aggregate. Tuition is ₹1,00,000 per semester, with full waiver for SC/ST/PwBD candidates and income-based waivers for others.
Do ISI students get a stipend?
Yes for most programmes: ₹5,000 per month for B Stat (Hons) and B Math (Hons), ₹8,000 per month for the listed master's programmes, and ₹37,000 per month for Junior Research Fellowships. B SDS is a fee-paying programme instead.
What is new in the 2026-27 session?
The MS in Quality Management Science has been renamed MS in Quality Management and Business Analytics [MS (QMBA)], and a 1-year Postgraduate Diploma in Statistical and Computational Genomics [PGDSCG] is being launched.
