  5. 5Keep the application copy and produce original qualification, age, community, service, disability and medical evidence when called.

FAQs
Are KAS Streams 1, 2 and 3 separate examinations?

They are three official eligibility and appointment streams under one KAS recruitment notification. Separate applications and ranked lists apply.

Do preliminary marks count in final KAS merit?

No. The notification states that the preliminary examination is only a screening test.

What is the final merit maximum?

The three main papers total 300 marks and the interview carries 45 marks, for 345.

Is the 2025 cycle still operational?

The three ranked lists took effect on 30 January 2026 and the notification states that they remain in force for one year.
