Worth preparing alongside

We cannot line KIITEE Engineering up against other exams yet

This does not mean KIITEE Engineering shares nothing with the exams you are preparing for — only that we have not loaded a chapter-by-chapter syllabus we can compare against, so we will not guess. We compare 0 exams whose official syllabus we have traced to the conducting body, and this one is not among them yet.

FAQs
Is KIITEE Engineering a different exam from KIITEE?

No. KIIT runs one entrance examination, KIITEE. What people call KIITEE Engineering is the B.Tech paper of that test. One application, one exam, one result.

Which subjects does the engineering paper cover?

Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2 standard, 40 questions each. B.Tech Lateral Entry instead takes Mathematics, Basic Electrical Engineering and Engineering Mechanics, 40 questions each.

What marks do I need in class 12 for B.Tech?

A pass in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together, from regular full-time formal education. Re-check the current cycle's eligibility page, as KIIT also restricts which 10+2 years are accepted.

What should I prepare for?

Prepare for KIITEE. Use KIIT's Test Syllabus page and the Information Brochure appendices for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and note that KIITEE has negative marking - 4 marks for a correct answer, minus 1 for a wrong one.
