Who conducts GPAT 2026?
NBEMS (National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences) conducts GPAT on behalf of the Pharmacy Council of India. NBEMS's role is limited to conducting the exam, declaring the result and handing it to PCI.
When is GPAT 2026?
The exam is on 07-03-2026 as a single-day, single-session Computer-Based Test. Result is to be declared by 07-04-2026.
What is the exam pattern?
125 MCQs, 4 options each (English only), 500 marks, 180 minutes. Marking: +4 correct, -1 incorrect (25% negative), 0 for unattempted. The paper is split into time-bound sections.
What is the application fee?
Rs 3,500 for General/OBC/EWS and Rs 2,500 for SC/ST/PwD (excluding payment gateway charges).
How long is the GPAT score valid?
The GPAT 2026 score is valid for 3 years.
Is there re-evaluation?
No. There is no re-evaluation, rechecking or re-totaling of responses. A provisional answer key challenge (Rs 200 per question, non-refundable) is allowed before the final result.
