Worth preparing alongside

We cannot line MAHA HM CET up against other exams yet

This does not mean MAHA HM CET shares nothing with the exams you are preparing for — only that we have not loaded a chapter-by-chapter syllabus we can compare against, so we will not guess. We compare 0 exams whose official syllabus we have traced to the conducting body, and this one is not among them yet.

FAQs
Is MAHA HM CET still a separate examination in 2026?

No. For academic year 2026-27, Maharashtra replaced the separate B.HMCT CET and BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM CET with one common MAH-B.HMCT/BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM-CET.

What marks are needed in 10+2 for the B.HMCT route?

The 2026 brochure states at least 45% aggregate, reduced to 40% for the specified Maharashtra reserved-category, EWS and PwD candidates.

Is there negative marking?

No. The 2026 official scheme states that there is no negative marking.

Does a CET score itself guarantee a seat?

No. Admission depends on CAP registration, eligibility and document verification, merit, submitted choices and seat availability.
