How often is MAT conducted?
Four times a year — in February, May, September and December.
What is the eligibility for MAT?
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University; final-year undergraduates may appear provisionally. No age bar; job experience not necessary.
What is the MAT exam pattern?
Objective type, 150 multiple-choice questions across five sections (30 each), to be attempted in 120 minutes.
Is there negative marking?
Yes, -0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
How long is a MAT score valid?
One year.
What are the test modes?
Paper Based Test (PBT) and Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates may apply for both.
