Who conducts NATA?
The Council of Architecture (CoA), an autonomous statutory body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, constituted under the Architects Act, 1972. NATA has been conducted since 2006.
What is the exam pattern of NATA 2026?
Total 200 marks. Part A — Drawing and Composition (offline, 90 min, 80 marks, 3 questions: A1 Composition & Color 25, A2 Sketching & Composition B&W 25, A3 3D Composition 30). Part B — MCQ + NCQ (online computer-based adaptive, 90 min, 120 marks, 50 questions: 42 MCQ + 8 NCQ). Medium: English and Hindi.
How many attempts are allowed?
A candidate may appear in only one Phase. Phase 1 (April 4 - June 13, 2026) permits up to two attempts with the best raw score used for percentile; Phase 2 (August 7-8, 2026) permits only one attempt with raw score only.
What is the eligibility for NATA 2026?
Passed/appearing 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics compulsory plus one of Chemistry/Biology/Technical Vocational/Computer Science/IT/Informatics Practices/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies, with at least 45% aggregate; OR passed 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics compulsory and at least 45% aggregate.
Is there a minimum qualifying score?
No minimum raw score is prescribed. The Final Scorecard showing the best Raw Score and a corresponding non-zero Percentile Score is the valid qualifying NATA score.
How long is the NATA 2026 score valid?
The NATA 2026 score is valid for the academic session 2026-2027.
What is the application fee?
Per test (in Rupees): General/OBC(NCL) 1750; SC/ST/EWS/PwD 1250; Transgender 1000; Outside India 15000. Non-refundable.
