We cannot line NMAT by GMAC up against other exams yet
This does not mean NMAT by GMAC shares nothing with the exams you are preparing for — only that we have not loaded a chapter-by-chapter syllabus we can compare against, so we will not guess. We compare 0 exams whose official syllabus we have traced to the conducting body, and this one is not among them yet.

How many times can I take the NMAT by GMAC exam?
Up to 3 times in a testing cycle (July 1 to June 30) — one initial attempt plus two retakes — including no-shows. A mandatory 15-day gap is required between consecutive attempts.
Is there negative marking?
No. Each correct answer is worth 3 marks; there are no marks deducted for wrong answers and no marks for unanswered questions.
What is the exam structure?
Three sections — Language Skills (36 questions), Quantitative Skills (36 questions), and Logical Reasoning (36 questions) — for 108 questions total in 120 minutes. Candidates choose the section order.
How is the exam scored?
Using a probabilistic (item response) model, then transformed to a scaled score: 12–120 per section and 36–360 overall.
When do I get my score?
An unofficial score appears immediately after submission; the official scorecard is typically available within 48 hours (up to 5-7 working days if an audit is required).
What are the eligibility requirements?
GMAC sets no fixed academic eligibility to take the exam. Individual accepting schools define their own eligibility criteria; candidates must verify requirements with each target school.
How many schools can receive my score for free?
You can select up to five schools to receive your official score at no additional charge; additional score reports cost INR 400 each plus applicable taxes.
