Worth preparing alongside

We cannot line NMRC/MMRC/JMRC Various Posts up against other exams yet

How to apply
Open official application page
  1. 1Decide which corporation you are applying to first. NMRC, MMRC and JMRC advertise separately and there is no common application.
  2. 2For NMRC, watch https://www.nmrcnoida.com/Career/public-career. Each advertisement there carries its own PDF and its own application form, and the eligibility conditions must be met together as on the closing date of application. NMRC conducts its selection process offline only, and outstation candidates called physically must arrange their own travel and stay.
  3. 3For MMRC, watch https://mmrcl.com/en/vacancies. Applications go against a numbered recruitment advertisement with its own last date of submission, and the recent advertisement asked for a latest resume, photograph, educational documents, attested copies of ACRs/APARs of the last five years and the enclosed formats, sent to the General Manager (HR & Admin) at the postal address printed in the advertisement. No travelling allowance is paid for attending the interview.
  4. 4For JMRC, watch the Direct Recruitment page at https://transport.rajasthan.gov.in/content/transportportal/en/metro/career/direct-recruitment.html. In the 2019 cycle the application was submitted either through JMRC's own recruitment portal or through an e-Mitra kiosk within Rajasthan, and an application counted as submitted only once the prescribed fee was deposited by the last date.
  5. 5Pay only the fee the advertisement prescribes, through the channel it prescribes. JMRC's 2019 fee was Rs. 250 for persons with disabilities (OL - R or L) and for SC/ST candidates of Rajasthan, Rs. 400 for Non-Creamy Layer OBC, EWS and MBC candidates of Rajasthan and Rs. 500 for all other candidates, plus Rs. 45 per transaction as an e-Mitra service charge.
  6. 6Register well before the last date. JMRC's advertisement warns candidates in their own interest to register online much before the last date, and does not accept the failure of a late attempt as a reason.
  7. 7Track the corporation's own website for the test, admit card and result dates. JMRC states expressly that dates for the CBT, admit card download and the psychometric test or interview are announced later on its website and recruitment portal.
FAQs
Is there one exam for NMRC, MMRC and JMRC?

No. These are three separate companies with three separate owners and three separate recruitment processes. There is no common advertisement, no common paper and no common calendar. Choose the corporation you want and follow its own recruitment page.

Do any of them recruit on GATE scores?

Not in the advertisements StudyBddy has read. The word GATE does not appear in JMRC's Detailed Advertisement of 16.12.2019 or in NMRC's officer-posts advertisement of 01.04.2026. JMRC runs its own Computer Based Test; NMRC names its own written test and/or interview; MMRC's recent advertisement selects by personal interview.

What does the JMRC CBT look like?

One hundred multiple-choice objective questions for 100 marks in 120 minutes, with 1 mark for each right answer and 0.25 deducted for each wrong answer. You need 40% to pass, or 35% if you are in the SC, ST, PwD or ESM categories. The subject split differs by post: for Junior Engineer it is 50 domain or trade questions plus 10 each of General Knowledge & Awareness, General Science and Mathematics, and 5 each of Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, English and Hindi. JMRC calls this scheme indicative, with the counts varying by up to 10%.

Does JMRC interview Junior Engineers?

No. For Junior Engineer, Customer Relations Assistant and Maintainer, the final merit list is in order of total marks in the CBT alone, subject to passing the medical fitness test. Only Station Controller / Train Operator has an interview, worth 10 marks, plus a qualifying psychometric test.

Is anything open right now?

On 4 August 2026, one advertisement was open: NMRC/HR/Rectt./04/2026 for a Young Professional (Legal) on direct contract basis, closing 14 August 2026 at a consolidated Rs. 50,000 per month. Every advertisement on MMRC's recruitment listing was marked closed, and JMRC had no open direct-recruitment advertisement.

Are NMRC and MMRC recruiting freshers?

Their recent advertisements are not fresher intakes. NMRC's 2026 officer-posts advertisement asked for several years of post-qualification experience per post, and MMRC's 2026 advertisement covered General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Manager and Assistant Manager grade posts screened on eligibility and experience and selected by interview. JMRC's 2019 drive is the entry-level one of the three.

Which website should I trust for JMRC recruitment news?

JMRC's own. Its site carries a public notice in Hindi telling candidates to go only to Jaipur Metro's authorised website for recruitment information. Its recruitment portal was not reachable on 4 August 2026, so use the JMRC Career pages on the Rajasthan Transport Department portal in the meantime.

Final eligibility and dates are always subject to the latest official notification. Content marked “Pending verification” is not presented as verified advice.
