We cannot line OJEE up against other exams yet
This does not mean OJEE shares nothing with the exams you are preparing for — only that we have not loaded a chapter-by-chapter syllabus we can compare against, so we will not guess. We compare 0 exams whose official syllabus we have traced to the conducting body, and this one is not among them yet.

FAQsPending verification
Do I need OJEE for a B.Tech seat in Odisha?
No. The OJEE-2026 Information Brochure states that for admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Plan and Int. M.Sc. courses candidates have to appear and qualify in JEE Main - 2026. OJEE itself covers B.Pharm, B.CAT, Integrated MBA, the nursing courses, lateral entry to B.Tech and B.Pharm, and the master's programmes. A separate B.Tech paper of 60 questions exists only under the 2nd / Special OJEE.
How is OJEE marked?
Multiple choice questions with four options each. Each correct answer fetches four marks and one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer; unattempted questions neither gain nor lose marks. The nursing entrance tests are marked differently: 100 questions of one mark each with no negative marking.
What happens if I submit a completely blank paper?
The brochure states that if a candidate has not attempted at least one question and has not selected its answer circle on the computer, the candidature will summarily be rejected and no rank will be awarded.
What does OJEE cost?
Rs 1000 for an application covering a single course, plus Rs 500 for each additional course added to the same form. Banks may charge transaction charges over and above the prescribed fee.
I have qualified GATE or GPAT. Do I still sit OJEE?
No. The brochure states that all GATE and GPAT qualified candidates can directly participate in the counselling process and are not required to appear for OJEE 2026.
Is a nativity certificate needed?
The brochure states that a nativity certificate of Odisha is mandatory for taking admission against reserved seats, that the certificate must be generated online in the prescribed form, and that candidates who cannot produce one are treated as General candidates.
Final eligibility and dates are always subject to the latest official notification. Content marked “Pending verification” is not presented as verified advice.
