How to applyPending verification
- 1Register bio-data particulars through One Time Registration (OTR) on the Commission's website to obtain the Commission ID. The notification is explicit that One Time Registration is not itself an application.
- 2If already registered, log in with the registered OTR number and update the OTR details, because the details available in the OTR database at the time of applying are what the Commission carries into the application.
- 3Fill and submit the online application against the specific notification. Details fetched from the OTR database must be verified; anything wrong has to be corrected in the OTR first and the application re-opened.
- 4Pay the application processing fee and, unless exempted, the examination fee. The notification warns that failure to pay both will entail total rejection of the application.
- 5Use the Application Edit Option during the window the notification fixes; for Notification 02/2024 that was 23/03/2024 10:00 A.M. to 27/03/2024 5:00 P.M.
- 6Download the hall ticket from 7 days before the examination and up to 4 hours before it begins.
FAQsPending verification
Is it TSPSC or TGPSC?
The Commission's own website now reads 'Telangana Public Service Commission' with a TGPSC footer, and its landing page states that the main website domain has changed to https://websitenew.tgpsc.gov.in/. The older tspsc.gov.in host no longer resolves. Some of the Commission's own service links, such as the Group-I hall ticket and 'Know Your TSPSC ID', still sit on tspsc.gov.in subdomains, and the 2024 Group-I notification was issued under the older name.
Is there a Telangana Group examination notified for 2026?
No. As of 3 August 2026 the Commission's notification pages list no Group-I, II, III or IV notification later than 02/2024. The 2026 notifications on those pages are single-post recruitments such as Assistant Executive Engineer, Deputy Educational Officer and Town Planning Assistant.
How many stages does Group-I have?
Two written stages. A Preliminary Test of 150 objective questions for 150 marks in 2 1/2 hours, which is a screening test whose marks are not counted for ranking, and a Written (Main) Examination of a qualifying General English paper plus six papers of 150 marks each, totalling 900 marks.
Do Group-II, III and IV have a preliminary test?
No. Under Notifications 28/2022, 29/2022 and 19/2022 each of them is a single objective written examination: four papers for 600 marks in Group-II, three papers for 450 marks in Group-III, and two papers for 300 marks in Group-IV.
In which languages is the examination held?
The Group-II, Group-III and Group-IV written examinations are conducted in English, Telugu and Urdu. The Group-I notification gives an option of medium for both the Preliminary Test and the Main Examination.
What does the application cost?
Under Notification 02/2024 each applicant pays an application processing fee of Rs.200 and an examination fee of Rs.120, with all unemployed candidates exempted from the examination fee. Failure to pay both, where payable, results in rejection of the application.
Final eligibility and dates are always subject to the latest official notification. Content marked “Pending verification” is not presented as verified advice.
