- 1Sign up on the ACET student portal at member.actuariesindia.org/acetstudents.
- 2Log in with your ID and password and open the 'Registration form' tab; fill in your personal details and confirm.
- 3Add educational details for class 10 and class 12, then confirm.
- 4Select your State and City and confirm.
- 5Read the declaration and accept it.
- 6Pay the examination fee of Rs. 500.
- 7Upload a recent colour passport-size photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm, plain white background, minimum 150px x 150px, maximum 1 MB).
- 8After successful registration and photo approval, download the Welcome Kit with a sample question paper and indicative solution from the Welcome Kit tab.

When is ACET December 2026 and when does registration close?
The main exam is on 5 December 2026 from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm. Registration opened on 28 July 2026 at 3.00 PM and closes on 4 November 2026 at 3.00 PM. Results are due 16 December 2026.
How is ACET marked?
70 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks in 3 hours — 45 questions of 1 mark, 20 of 2 marks and 5 of 3 marks. There is no negative marking. The pass mark is 50%.
What do I need to sit the home-based online exam?
A personal laptop or desktop on licensed Windows 10 or above (macOS and Linux are not allowed), latest Chrome, Intel i3 or above, 4 GB RAM, a working webcam and microphone, and a dedicated 5 Mbps connection. Tablets, mobile devices and mobile hotspots are not permitted.
Who can apply?
Anyone who has appeared for 10+2 and is awaiting results, has passed 10+2 or a higher course, or is currently studying a higher course.
