How to applyPending verification
- 1Register for CSEET through the 'Register for CSEET' link in the Student section of www.icsi.edu, within the registration cut-off window for the session you want — 1 November to 28/29 February for the June session, 1 March to 30 June for the October session, and 1 July to 31 October for the February session.
- 2Pay the CSEET registration fee of Rs 7500, which is inclusive of the Student Induction Programme and Online Classes. Fee concessions apply for SC/ST, physically handicapped, candidates from the north-eastern states, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and Himachal Pradesh (50%), and candidates from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh (100%).
- 3Enrol separately for the examination in the enrolment window for your session and pay the examination fee of Rs 1500 per session, or Rs 1500 plus a late fee of Rs 250 in the late window.
- 4Use the CSEET change window announced for the session if you need to change your details after enrolling.
- 5If you are exempt from CSEET — CS Foundation pass, graduate or post-graduate, CA Intermediate pass, CMA Final pass, or a qualifying integrated-programme student — register directly for the CS Executive Programme through the 'Registration for Executive Programme (Direct)' link.
- 6If you have passed CSEET, register for the Executive Programme within one year of the CSEET result declaration through 'Registration for CSEET Pass Students in Executive Programme'.
- 7For the Executive and Professional Programme examinations, submit the examination enrolment request from the announced start date, clear the pre-examination test by the stated cut-off, and complete enrolment by the last date, with or without late fee.
- 8Note that no refund is applicable in any circumstances after payment, except in the case of double payment.

What changed in CSEET?
CSEET was restructured with effect from the June 2026 session. The last remote-proctored CSEET was held in January 2026. The restructured test is held at designated examination centres in major Indian cities, from 2:30 PM to 5:45 PM, with four papers of 100 marks each — three subjective papers of three hours and one OMR-based paper of two hours.
When is the next CSEET?
The October 2026 session runs on 1 October (Business Communication), 3 October (Fundamentals of Accounting), 5 October (Economic and Business Environment) and 6 October 2026 (Business Laws and Management, OMR based). Registration for that session closed on 30 June 2026 and examination enrolment ran 16 July to 15 August 2026, with a late-fee window to 20 August 2026.
When are the CS Executive and Professional exams?
The December 2026 session runs from 21 to 28 December 2026, with no examination on 25 December. Papers are held from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, including 15 minutes of reading time from 2:00 PM.
How do I pass?
At every stage you need a minimum of forty per cent marks in each paper and fifty per cent marks in the aggregate. CSEET has no exemption or carry-forward of marks. The Executive and Professional Programmes do allow paper-wise exemptions where you score sixty per cent or more in a paper and at least twenty-five per cent in each remaining paper of that module.
Is there negative marking?
There is no negative marking in the OMR paper of CSEET, Business Laws and Management. The Executive and Professional Programme papers are descriptive.
Can I skip CSEET?
Yes if you are a CS Foundation pass student, a graduate or post-graduate, a CA Intermediate pass student, a CMA Final pass student, or a qualifying student of a recognised five-year integrated programme. Those categories register directly for the CS Executive Programme.
What does CSEET cost, and how long does registration last?
Registration is Rs 7500, inclusive of the Student Induction Programme and Online Classes, plus Rs 1500 examination fee per session and a Rs 250 late fee if you enrol late. Registration is valid for three years from the month of registration, and a CSEET pass is valid for one year from the result declaration.
