Is there an age limit to appear for CUET (UG) 2026?
No. There is no age limit to appear; candidates must still meet any age criteria set by the University they seek admission to.
How many subjects can a candidate choose?
A maximum of five (05) subjects, including languages and the General Aptitude Test, irrespective of subjects taken in Class XII (subject to the desired programme's eligibility).
What is the marking scheme?
Each test paper has 50 compulsory questions. Correct answer +5 marks; incorrect answer -1 mark (negative marking). Duration is 60 minutes per paper.
In how many mediums is the exam held?
13 Indian languages: Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
