  1. 1Watch Notices > Advertisments on https://jssc.jharkhand.gov.in for the JGGLCCE advertisement and brochure of the cycle.
  2. 2Open https://jssc.jharkhand.gov.in/application-forms-apply and use the 'Apply Now' link the Commission publishes there for that examination. The Commission links a different portal for each examination.
  3. 3Fill and submit the online application within the window stated in the advertisement, and pay the fee on that portal.
  4. 4Download the admit card from the link the Commission publishes on https://jssc.jharkhand.gov.in/admit-card for that examination.
  5. 5Do not send documents with the application. The Commission's FAQ states it does not ask candidates to submit proof of eligibility at the application stage and calls candidates for certificate verification after results are published.
FAQs
What is JSSC CGL actually called?

The Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination, which the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission abbreviates JGGLCCE on all of its notices. Its titles spell it out in full, for example 'Advertisement of Jharkhand General Graduate level combined competitive Examination – 2019'.

Is JTGLCCE the same examination?

No. JTGLCCE is the Jharkhand Technical Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination, a separate examination with its own advertisement, its own posts and its own application portal. An application for JTGLCCE-2026 was open on the Commission's apply page on 3 August 2026. Do not apply for JTGLCCE expecting JSSC CGL.

Was the JGGLCCE-2023 examination cancelled?

Partly. On 31 January 2024 the Commission published a notice titled 'Cancellation of Exam dated 28.01.2024 & Postponement of Exam dated 04.02.2024 under JGGLCCE-2023'. The paper set for 28 January 2024 was cancelled and the paper set for 4 February 2024 was postponed. The examination was subsequently held — the answer key was published on 26 September 2024.

Has the JGGLCCE-2023 result been declared?

Yes. The Commission published the Result of JGGLCCE-2023 on 8 December 2025, an Additional and amended result on 7 January 2026, and a further Additional result on 19 March 2026.

Is there a JGGLCCE cycle open right now?

No JGGLCCE advertisement later than 2023 appeared on the Commission's apply or admit-card listings on 3 August 2026, and the Commission's Examination Calendar carried no entries for August 2026. Watch Notices > Advertisments on jssc.jharkhand.gov.in.

Do I send my certificates with the application?

No. The Commission's FAQ states that as a matter of policy it does not ask candidates to submit any proof of eligibility with the application, that information submitted is accepted as true, and that candidates are called for verification after results are published. All qualifications must be held as on the last date of the application, and certificates produced at verification must be dated on or before that date.
