No. KRIBHCO's own GET-2025 recruitment page lists the qualification as a 'GATE-2025 Score Card (qualified GATE in respective discipline of graduation)'. KRIBHCO publishes no paper of its own for this post, so preparing for a 'KRIBHCO GET exam' would be preparing for something that does not exist.
Which GATE paper should I write?
The GATE paper of your own graduation discipline. KRIBHCO's GET-2025 page asks for a GATE score card 'in respective discipline of graduation', and advertised the streams Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical & Instrumentation.
Can any engineering graduate apply?
No. The GET-2025 page restricted applications to B.Tech/B.E. graduates from '35 approved Institutes-31 no. of NITs + 4 institutes', with 65% and above in graduation, 60% and above in class X and XII, only 2025 pass-outs or passing-out candidates, and no gaps or backlogs.
Is a KRIBHCO GET cycle open right now?
Not as at 4 August 2026. The KRIBHCO table on KRIBHCO's Career page reads 'No Openings Currently'. Watch that page — KRIBHCO states every step is announced there.
Is there a service bond?
Yes. The GET-2025 page states the GET shall execute a bond to serve KRIBHCO for three years after completion of training, of Rs. 2 lacs for General/OBC and Rs. 50,000/- for SC/ST candidates.
