RequiredThe syllabus prints 'Total 30 Questions 30 Marks' at the end of each section.

Category II - Paper II
RequiredSection IV is a choice: a candidate takes either IV.A Science & Mathematics or IV.B Social Science, each of which the syllabus marks as 60 Questions.

Category III - Paper III
RequiredWithin Section I the syllabus splits the weight as Adolescent Psychology 10 marks, Theories of Learning 15 marks and the remainder on teaching aptitude. Section III is set separately for each optional subject, each version carrying 80 questions.

Category IV
RequiredThe Category IV syllabus is written separately for each of Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Physical Education, Drawing, Sewing and Music. For Arabic the syllabus states that the section has two parts: the first part of 50 MCQs covers text comprehension, inference, verbal ability, applied grammar and understanding of the history of classical and modern Arabic literature, and the second part of 30 MCQs tests awareness of the pedagogy of language learning and development. It states that each MCQ carries one mark.

- 3Enter candidate details including name as in the SSLC certificate, date of birth, parent's name, category, medium of instruction and, for the relevant categories, the optional subject and the elements of language.
- 4Select the educational district as the examination centre.
- 5Upload the photograph in the prescribed format and size as specified on the form.
- 6Pay the examination fee online and note down the application number and application ID before payment, as the form instructs.
- 7Complete the 'Final Submission' step, then download the hall ticket from the candidate login when it is published.
