What is the exam pattern?
One online Computer Based Test in English only - 100 multiple choice questions, 100 minutes, 100 marks, one mark per question and 0.25 deducted for each wrong answer. There is no interview for Group 'B' and 'C' posts; the merit list rests on the CBT alone.
What marks do I need to qualify?
40% for General and EWS candidates, 35% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. A reserved category candidate applying against an unreserved post must reach 40%.
Who is eligible?
Either B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing, regular B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University or Institute plus registration as RN or RN & RM with a State Nursing Council; or a Diploma in General Nursing and Mid-wifery from a recognized Board or Council plus State Nursing Council registration plus one year's experience in a minimum fifty bedded hospital after that qualification. The age limit is 18-35 years.
