No. Advertisement No. 02/2025 invites applications only from candidates declared qualified in Rajasthan CET (Graduation Level) 2024, whose result was issued on 12-02-2025. CET is the gate; Patwari is the main recruitment examination that follows it.

One offline OMR paper of 3 hours: 150 multiple-choice objective questions for 300 marks. One-third of a mark is deducted for each wrong answer. The split is General Science with Indian history, polity and geography and general knowledge and current affairs (38 questions, 76 marks); Geography, History, Culture and Polity of Rajasthan (30 questions, 60 marks); General English and Hindi (22 questions, 44 marks); Mental ability and Reasoning with Basic Numerical efficiency (45 questions, 90 marks); and Basic Computer (15 questions, 30 marks).

It began at 2020 posts - 1733 non-scheduled area and 287 scheduled area - and was revised on 20-06-2025 to 3705 posts, 3183 non-scheduled area and 522 scheduled area, an increase of 1685. Because the increase was above 50 percent, applications were reopened from 23-06-2025 to 29-06-2025.

The final result on 31-12-2025 selected 2858 candidates in the non-scheduled area and 462 in the scheduled area, 3320 in all. A further order dated 09-07-2026 finally selected 308 more in the non-scheduled area and 57 in the scheduled area, 365 in all, from candidates earlier held provisional. The board records that the process remains subject to six pending civil writ petitions.

In the non-scheduled area the final cut-offs published with the July 2026 order were 253.2397 for General male, 240.7889 for General female, 246.6058 for EWS male, 249.371 for OBC male, 241.5676 for MBC male, 232.6029 for SC male and 230.4915 for ST male, out of 300. In the scheduled area they were 226.3309 for General male, 210.3365 for SC male and 180.5541 for ST male.

Pay Matrix Level L-5 under the state's Seventh Pay Scale. But probation runs two years, during which only fixed remuneration set by the state government is paid, with no HRA, DA, urban compensatory allowance or special pay; the pay scale and allowances start after probation. You needed a graduate degree plus a computer qualification - O Level, COPA or DPCS, a diploma or degree in computer science or computer application, a 3-year polytechnic diploma in computer science and engineering, a degree in any branch of engineering and technology, or RS-CIT from Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota.

Not announced. The board's examination calendar press note of 05-01-2026 lists Agriculture Supervisor, Laboratory Assistant (Geography and Science), Supervisor Woman and Forester for 2026, and no Patwari examination. Patwari is still one of the posts covered by CET (Graduation Level) 2026, so the next cycle will draw on those qualifiers, but no date has been published.
