Apprentice Technician follows the ITI Technician, Industrial Operator & Maintenance route.
Phase 0 · Target, Eligibility & Reality Check
Audit degree, marks, subject eligibility and prior evidence against the target route: ITI/short-term skill course → apprenticeship/OJT → technician/operator recruitment. Take a diagnostic in School mathematics/science; safety; measurements; basic drawing; work discipline; classify gaps as must-have, useful or optional.

Phase 1 · Foundation & Academic Base
Complete bridge modules in weak subjects, with weekly tests and notes. Convert every topic into worked examples linked to ITI Technician, Industrial Operator & Maintenance.
Typical duration: 6–16 weeks
Phase 2 · Core Curriculum / Skill Stack
Use a competency matrix to close gaps in Trade theory; tools; practical operations; maintenance; quality; troubleshooting; workplace safety. Practise under time limits and explain decisions, trade-offs and errors.
Typical duration: 3–9 months
Phase 3 · Applied Practice, Projects & Field Exposure
Finish two role-relevant projects and one real-client, research, field, clinical or organisational experience. Document scope, method, result, limitations and your contribution.

Phase 4 · Exam, Credential, Licence or Advanced Qualification
Create a notification-driven preparation plan, complete PYQs/mocks and maintain a document checklist. For degree/PhD routes, prepare statements, references and research evidence.

Phase 5 · Experience, Network & Professional Evidence
Target roles such as Apprentice; junior technician; machine/operator trainee. Send focused applications, request feedback and track conversion rates by channel.

Phase 6 · Portfolio, CV, Applications & Selection Preparation
Tailor CV and portfolio to the vacancy. Prepare STAR stories, technical/case rounds, exam interviews and a 30-60-90 day answer.

Use a 30-60-90 day plan: learn systems and stakeholders, deliver one low-risk win, then own a measurable responsibility.
